Prenatal yoga allows new moms-to-be to have a safe space to nurture their souls, strengthen their body and mind and connect to their baby. In this 8 week series, you will discover the physical and mental benefits of yoga during your pregnancy by building strength and flexibility, learning breathing techniques and relaxation skills. These techniques will allow you to gain confidence and calm during your pregnancy, labor and delivery. Prenatal yoga is an amazing way to bond with your baby, prepare yourself for the arrival of your little one and connect with other moms-to-be within the community. It is appropriate for any trimester of pregnancy and all levels of yoga experience are welcome.

This twice a week series will leave you feeling strong and toned for the summer!
Tanya Proffitt will guide students through a 6 week progression of core & upper body strengthening using a combination of free weight & floor core exercises. Tanya will help you improve posture, build a more stable, powerful abdomen & lower back structure, & sculpt your shoulders & arms. Students will use low weights with high repetitions in order to avoid tightness & bulk & instead create longer, leaner muscles, increased bone density, & provide a firm foundation for a stronger yoga practice & daily life.
