Beginners Yoga

 Sun: 11a-12p, Tues: 6-7p, Thurs: 6-7p, Sat: 11a-12p

 

This class serves as an introduction to the basic principles of foundation, alignment & breath.  We introduce basic poses that flow together to build strength, increase flexibility, build lung capacity, and ultimately greatly reduce stress in the body & mind. All levels are welcome!

 

Gentle Yoga

Mon: 11a-12p                         Wed: 11a-12p

 

Slower paced, gentle yoga presents an introduction to the basic yoga poses.  This class emphasizes stretching, coordination of breath with movement and attention on alignment.  It is designed to create breath awareness, enhance balance, and increase flexibility.  All levels welcome.

 

Extra Gentle Yoga

Fri: 5-6p

 

Therapeutic in nature, you will learn techniques to help you gain flexibility, while immersing yourself in a relaxing class that moves at a perfectly slower pace, allowing ample time to enjoy each pose.  Expect lots of stretching and lingering in supported seated poses.  Meditation and relaxation techniques will also be introduced. Perfect for stress relief and overall well-being. All levels welcome.

 

Mixed Level Vinyasa Flow

Linking breath & motion, this is a mixed level class designed to inspire you.  This class moves beyond the fundamentals of breath, movement, and alignment, and ultimately, takes your yoga practice to the next level.  

 

Vinyasa Flow Level 2-3

Tues: 7:15p – 8:30p                       Thurs: 7:15p- 8:30p

 

Transform your body and mind in this empowering Vinyasa class.  This stimulating class incorporates traditional core-training and strength building movement into a powerful yoga practice intended to challenge your body in an inspirational way.  This class is suited to students of all levels, and a strong desire to work hard is encouraged.  Empower yourself and achieve greater strength, alignment and confidence in your yoga practice. 

 

Prana Flow Level 2-3

Sat: 9:30a- 10:45am

 

Developed by Master Yoga Instructor Shiva Rea, Prana Flow is a liberating, evolutionary, rhythmic, vinyasa flow class that encompasses mudra, chanting, bandha, pranayama, meditation, asana, kriya and a whole lot of fun. It’s set to music, and it is almost guaranteed to raise your vibration, open your heart and set your mind free.

 

Awakening Yang Flow

Tues: 6:30a- 7:30a

 

This early morning class will awaken and enliven your body and mind. 

 

Lunchtime Core Buster

Wed.: 12:15- 1p

 

In this class you will strengthen your core and align your spine; you will learn how to target your deepest abdominal muscles (or as Tanya calls them, your "scaffolding" muscles); and you will lengthen and decompress your body, from head to toe! Discover your powerhouse - the muscles of the abdominals, lower back, shoulders, hips and buttocks - and begin to feel immeasurably better. Rooted in Vinyasa Flow and Pilates, this lunch break Core Buster class will strengthen and tone your muscles, improve your posture, flexibility, and balance, and enhance your physical and emotional well-being.

 

Funky Friday $8

Linking breath with motion, this is a mixed level class designed to inspire you.  This challenging class moves beyond the fundamentals of breath, movement & alignment and ultimately takes your practice to the next level.  A mixed level class, played to fun music. Only $8!


Stretch, Strengthen & Restore

Thurs: 9a-10:15

 

Experiencing low energy, decreased mobility, or difficulty with strength and balance? Find relief and build a stronger and more confident body through this therapeutic style yoga class. Join Alicia  for a 75 minute class with specific postures for strengthening and stretching our bodies followed by restorative postures and a meditative Savasana. The perfect blend of active postures and relaxation to bring harmony, strength and balance to your body and mind. We will have a different focus each week.


Aerial Yoga for everyBODY

Mon: 5:45-6:45                                           Fri: 11-12p                                           Sat: 12:30-1:30

 

Based on the traditional principles of yoga, breath and with movement, this modern style of yoga that incorporates a low-hanging soft fabric OM Gym hammock to explore alignment, release chronic tension and hang around upside down For those with little or no yoga experience, “Aerial Yoga For EveryBODY” is a great place to start. Each class incorporates spinal decompression, supported inversions, core and upper body strengthening, deep relaxation, and fun, fun, fun! This class is appropriate for anyone whether or not you have previous yoga experience. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Please sign up online or call to register. Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to class.
