Christa Sperry RMP, RYT-200

I  am a nationally certified Maryland State Registered Massage Practitioner, a member of the Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals, and Yoga Alliance.  I graduated from Central Maryland School of Massage in 2014 with over 750 hours of education and hands-on practice. Since graduating I have acquired two separate certifications in Thai Yoga Massage, become a 200 Hour Level Yoga Teacher through the Multidisciplinary Yoga Teacher Training program, and am a trained hospice volunteer through JSSA.

What inspires you about massage therapy? I have seen and experienced firsthand the power of therapeutic touch, and it remains a source of inspiration for me as a therapist. It is not only on a physical 'feel good' level - the power of compassionate touch has the potential to facilitate healing on an emotional level as well.

Who is your ideal client?   My ideal client is one that wants to participate in and take an active role in their own journey to wellness. I welcome people of all abilities, backgrounds, gender, orientation, and belief into my practice. I am happy to work with any special needs or requests during our session in order to make my client feel welcomed and comfortable.

Do you specialize in any areas?  Thai Yoga Massage, deep tissue, and Swedish. In any given session, I usually blend many styles together to create a unique experience tailored to meet my client's needs.

What do you do for fun?   I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking anything and everything, feeding the birds, and fire dancing with my troupe, Pyrophoric.
